The cousins splashing in the mud with their rain boots on.
Rett and Auntie Kiki bagging the spinach at the Co-op farm.
Fresh picked Strawberries.
Uncle John and Liam collecting the herbs.
Every time I look at these pictures I will think of my niece as she eagerly takes my hand and directs me toward the main barn after we've parked the car at the co-op farm. She says to me in a very grown up voice "My mom HATES the handicaps!"
We are swinging our hands back and forth and I quickly respond with "Yeah, she's always had a thing about the disabled"
At this point my sister-in-law, overhearing our conversation says "what are you two talking about?"
At this point my sister-in-law, overhearing our conversation says "what are you two talking about?"
Delaney points in the direction of the port-a-potties, "You know the handicaps"
It finally clicks "oh you mean the HONEYBUCKETS?"
Yeah, here they are called port-a-potties but up there they are called honeybuckets...it even says it on the side of each one....but both are very big H words, easily confused.
I'll never get tired of telling this story.
