A New Smile

At the park two girls come running toward me. "Mrs. Moyers, Mrs. Moyers! Rett pulled out his tooth!"

My first thought: thank goodness, he finally pulled that crazy looking beaver tooth...which has been hanging by a thread.

I find him over by the jungle gym, basking in his celebrity.

He hands me the recently removed, pearly white, and shows me his new smile...the goofy beaver tooth is still there, standing at attention!

He ripped out the other front tooth! Ugh.
