Today was counter top removal day, in anticipation of the new counter being installed early tomorrow morning. We opted to remove the counter ourselves to save $400. I mean really how difficult could it be right?
It took us almost all day to pack up the kitchen, move the stove, dishwasher and trash compactor and do the touch up paint and wall repairs.
Also, we ended up chipping our sink while trying to remove it from the counter! Big oops.
We're going to try to salvage it, hopefully we can find some kind of porcelain repair stuff to make it look perfect again.
