I found a witch hat to wear while I give out candy! Also pictured, our kitty funkin (fake pumpkin), we've had the wooden kitty pieces since Liam was little, glad we chose to get a funkin for it instead of those messy real ones.... So excited for Halloween night.
I was in charge of purchasing some pumpkins on a budget. They are for the upcoming middle school dance. These are quite possibly the ugliest pumpkins I've ever seen. They were only $2.48 at Fresh and Easy! They look right off the farms, possibly cast off the farm. Clearly my photography skills have not improved even though I'm doing the picture-a-day challenge, as evidenced by the hand/camera shadow in the lower right hand corner, amongst other things.
Yes, I took a picture of the ovens. I'm just so excited about decorating for a holiday. Since there are two, the decorative dishtowels can stay nice and we can put a usable set on the lower oven handle. This is high on my list of reasons to have double ovens, right after being able to cook two things at once.
Getting into the Halloween Spirit early. It's our first Halloween here. We had a good time breaking out the decorations and trying to figure out where they will go in the new house.
