Zumba with the Postage Stamp Ballerina

"Thanks to Cousin Jennifer I've already done the following today: Seen the Pacific Ocean, had a Hazelnut latte, chatted up a Rockette, stood in the pouring rain while holding MY umbrella over the dog to try to coax her to "go", sang the words "Apple bottom jeans...", met the ballerina who was on the 32 cent stamp, and Zumba-ed for the first time...not necessarily in that order."
I had to include the picture of the stamp even though I'm not the one who took the photo.

The rest of my day was spent stapling together my copies from yesterday. These are just revamps of Jog-A-Thon packets I designed years ago for the elementary school.  New name, new logo, a little bit of the information has changed, but the bones of it are the same.  The Tech-A-Thon packets are set to go home with students on Monday. 

 

My hand is going to hurt when these are done.

Dog Groomer

Just picked the dog up from the groomer.  They do such a nice job.  This time they gave her a purple ribbon to match her collar.  We love the berry smell too. It's so much better than when she smells like wet dog.

Soccer Makes Us Tired

Back at the ranch we are ready to relax and have some down time....except for the dog. She misses us terribly when we're gone. So she's super hyper and all over us when we're home. Even my eye's don't have enough energy to be open all the way.

Our Christmas tree is up, the skirt is around the bottom and the lights are on....okay, so it came pre-lit, but I did have to put it together and plug it in....and now that it's done we can get into the holiday spirit.

Carseat Cleanup

"Mom I think I'm going to throw up"...and then he does, on himself, in his carseat. 

Had no idea he wasn't feeling well until the car ride.

Cleaned the carseat and put the foam in the sun to dry, the next thing I know the dog is using it to sunbath.

Caged Animals

Maggie's portable kennel has been the chosen toy this week. 

Honestly, I'm about ready to throw the thing away. 

It's noisy, continually being dragged all over the house, and our anxiety addled dog is much worse than normal from her constant fear of impeding doom when the cage is near, darting in and out of my feet as I try to walk.

Walking the Dog

PS. Editing and posting the video for this day has taken me so long! Major technical difficulties, all user error, I'm sure. This one day is the reason the next 11 days have yet to be posted. I can't bare for them to be out of chronological order, so they are all being posted at once. (big sigh)
