Do you know what this means?  Two days in a row I have posted to my blog...I'm shocked at myself...and a bit relieved that it's coming back to me...a bit.

Below this is the "You Might Also Like" section.  Keep in mind, two years ago I still had to load pictures from my camera instead of my iPhone, this little one was at home full time and I hadn't discovered Instagram yet, how time flies.

Last Day of Swim & Things in the Stroller

It's the last day of swimming lessons!  I can hardly believe it.  Rett has been enrolled in swim since he was a baby. 

 

Miss Lisa was our teacher at Mommy and Me swim and has been his instructor for almost every session he's been in since then.  Also, now that the city has changed their sign-ups to on-line, we couldn't even get on the 5 deep waiting list, much less into one of the actual swimming classes. 

 

Oh well, Rett is a fantastic swimmer, but it was nice to have a regular exercise routine besides climbing the walls at home.

This is a shot taken with the camera phone. 
We were out shopping with the stroller, yes I still use it, don't make fun, I can hold a lot of bags with that thing...oh, yeah, back to the photo. 
So in the little pocket was a pair of glasses. 
Not mine. 
Let's see when was the last time we used the stroller? 
Oh yeah, that's right, SCP.
With was an epic shopping day, since I was out buying gift cards to stores Jr. Highers might like to find in the prize room for the Tech-A-Thon.  Too many stores to count!

New Window, Soccer, Swim, Art Day

A very busy day. 

 

Last year I had a difficult time choosing just one photo a day specifically for this reason. We cram a lot into each and every day.

First stop, swimming lessons, at the City Gym and Pool.

Next, art class at the Community Center.

Back to the house to check the progress of the new window. 

 

We'd been planning this new addition for months.  Glad it's finally happening.  The living room was so dark before.  All the natural light is fantastic, as is the extended view of the backyard.

Finally, Rett helping out at soccer practice. 

 

The big boys did have fun trying to see who could do the most push ups with him on their back.  Jake, Griffin and Liam had the most success.  No easy task now that Rett weighs a solid 45 pounds.

Call of Duty Jacket

Thanks to the friends that gave Rett this hand-me-down jacket. 

He calls it his Call of Duty jacket. 

Loves it so much he wore to swimming lessons.

Another Swim Session Over

The beloved swim instructor! It's been more than 2 years now. 

At the end of each session they get a completion card and a candy. The little fish is already asking when we start up swim lessons again.

Swim Certificate

"Hold this while I get my candy." 

At the end of the swim session they get a swim certificate and candy treat. 

Usually he puts the towel on as soon as he gets out of the water, not today. He's willing to be cold a little bit longer for this.

Shower Time

This is part of the swim ritual I never would have thought to photograph. 

If it wasn't for the trying-to-get-a-picture-every-single-day I would have missed it. 

He loves these concrete showers, he's never done. 

I'm always trying to get him to finish up. 

He sometimes wants to sit down in there, that's where I draw the line...ewww!

Back in the Pool

Swimming lessons have begun again. This little fish loves jumping off the block. Though his form has really suffered after a whole summer of just playing around in the water of our pool at home. Glad he feels so comfortable in the water, puts my heart at ease.

Pool Tricks

Rett calls out to me "Watch this!" 

I come over with the camera just as he goes under, his little feet were up in the air a second before this shot. He's doing a handstand in the pool! 

He's watched the big boys do it and decided to try it himself. Wow, I'm impressed.

Stomache Flu

Unfortunately, this is not a picture from today. 

I guess I could have taken a picture of the throw up I was surrounded by today, but this isn't necessarily something I want to remember. 

Picture is of Rett at swim with "shark hair." His instructor does that when they do an exceptional job swimming.

Back at Swimming Lessons

Rett's 1st day back in the pool for 2009. He takes swimming lessons two mornings a week during the school year and everyday Monday through Friday during the summer.
