In the name of self-analysis, and trying to save for that room addition, I'm keeping close track of my purchases.
First off, saving money at Costco is a bit like walking a tight rope for me. I'm SO easily tempted by a good deal. If I accidentally find myself wandering the aisles, there could be clothes, books, offices supplies, or kitchen accessories added to my basket. I'm proud to say, I was very good today.
Here are my purchases:
Knott's Boysenberry Jelly 2 pack $6.49
Fresh Strawberries $6.99
Fresh Blackberries $4.79
Butter $6.69
Unsalted Butter $6.79
Honey 3 pack $11.99
Bacon 4 pack $12.18
Charmin Toilet Paper $19.99
18 count eggs $2.30
Organic Tortilla chips $4.89
3 lb bag of bananas $1.39
Ancient Grains Almond Granola $6.99
Pumpkin Flax Granola $7.59
Laundry detergent Kirkland brand $14.39 (-2.75 instant coupon)
Vinegar $3.19
2% Milk 2 pack $5.69
Rotisserie Chicken $4.99
Grand Total for my 17 items: $127.73
I also filled up the minivan for $3.69 a gallon while I was there. Woohoo!

Stainless Steel
Right now I am sure we are the only family who takes pictures of their garbage cans. What can I say, we're in treatment....kind of.
This was half the price of all the other stainless steel we looked.
It came with a free mini-me, and they both have motion activated lids....these kinds of things are exciting for my family.
