Organic Veggies

Our first shipment of organic veggies and fruit, from Tanaka Farms, arrived today.   

This is a school fundraiser by the way. 

The box of fruit isn't a problem, but that's more vegetables than my family is used to consuming.  

I do admit to googling one of the items to find out exactly what it was.  We're not veggie-resistant, just....fruit-centric.  

"Anyone want a carrot?"

An Apple a Day

Rett: "Can I have some ice cream?"
Mama: "Did you eat an apple yet?"
Rett: "...yeah"
Mama: "Show me what's left."
Rett: "It's all in my tummy"
Mama: "I mean the core"
Rett: "It's gone"
Mama: "Did you eat the seeds too?"
Rett: "Well, no"
Mama: "Okay, then show me those"
Rett: "....Actually Ma...I didn't eat an apple"
mama: "I know"
Rett: "oh....how??"
Mama: "Mama's know everything"
Rett" "oh yeah"

He turns to leave the room and then says "Where are the apples again?"
