Working on the old house and the new house at the same time was just way too much WORK. We are finally to the point where we can take pictures to advertise and get it rented. Fingers crossed it will go smoothly.

Another picture of a house project? I know. But it's important to track the progress of these things. So many times little projects create the Domino Effect: where fixing one thing leads to 4 other things that need to be repaired, possibly because you broke them in the process.
Today was counter top removal day, in anticipation of the new counter being installed early tomorrow morning.
Here's the new and improved, appeals to a large audience, color. No more lavender cabinets. Liam, lover of all things brown, was skeptical of my choice in paint color. It's so different than the Easter egg lavender we were sporting before, but everyone seems pleasantly surprised by the drastic change. Wait till they see the new counter top I've ordered.
This picture was taken of the cabinets above our stove. We ordered doors for some of our cabinets, which up until now have been open. Our first trip to Home Depot we guessed the wrong door design. I took this picture of the doors and sent the camera with Tim to go back and get the correct ones. So that's two trips in one day, still not our record for the most number of trips in one day.
